The narrative is set during the Yuen Dynasty and focuses on a fierce competition between different martial art sects for control of two golden swords that supposedly hold the secret to dominating the world of martial arts. The primary opposition comes from the Ming Sect which is also called the Fire Sect or the Evil Sect. This group is commanded by four major leaders including the Queen of Purple Dragon, the King of White Eagle, the King of Gold Lion, and the King of Green Bat. The story follows a student of Wu Tang who forms a friendship with the Gold Lion and marries the daughter of the White Eagle. This student is eventually murdered for possessing the secret location of one of the missing swords. The child born from this event witnesses the killing and vows revenge on the leaders of both factions. However, the boy is born with a jinx that makes it impossible for him to learn martial arts. This curse transforms the tragedy into a supernatural obstacle for the next generation. The film highlights the intersection of personal vendetta and organized crime within the martial arts community. It showcases the typical tropes of the wuxia genre such as hidden treasures and tragic heroes. The DVD release ensures that this specific cinematic work remains accessible to collectors and fans of the genre.
