Tube Slider is a racing game for the Nintendo Gamecube released in the United States. The game features characters riding inflatable tubes down a variety of tracks that include beach forest and urban settings. Players steer with the analog stick and use buttons for acceleration and tricks while a drift mechanic allows sliding around corners. The game includes a Grand Prix mode time trials versus races and split screen multiplayer for up to four players. There are eight characters each with unique speed and handling stats. The tracks contain obstacles ramps loops and narrow pathways and power ups provide temporary advantages such as speed boosts or the ability to knock opponents off their tubes. The visuals are bright and cartoonish with smooth animations and dynamic lighting that changes with the time of day.
