Bum Fights is a title released for the Divx Movies collection in the United States. This specific version was made available on the iOctavio website on November 18 2002. The initial categorization by the user as Real TV is incorrect because the subject matter does not belong to reality programming. Instead the item is a film produced for the Divx format which was a standard for compressing video content for home media distribution in North America during the early twenty first century. The main highlights of the release involve staged bouts of violence and street fighting which aligns with the action genre common in censored movie compilations. By adding this item to the iOctavio database on the noted date it confirms its existence as a cataloged product within that online repository. The distinction between a game and a television show is clear here as this is a cinematic work formatted for video discs. The Divx label signifies that the content was processed through a specific encoding method intended to reduce file size while maintaining visual quality for the target audience. Consequently the item serves as a record of a specific edition of a censored movie featuring combat themes.
