The DVD release of Futurama Season Two in the United States gathers the twenty episodes that make up the second production season of the series and presents them in their original broadcast order with enhanced video quality and Dolby Digital audio. The collection showcases memorable stories such as I Roommate where Fry and Bender adjust to sharing an apartment, A Bicyclops Built For Two which introduces a one eyed alien love interest for Leela, The Lesser Of Two Evils which parodies reality television, The Problem With Popplers which satirizes fast food marketing, The Honking which pays homage to classic horror films, War Is The H Word which offers a comedic take on military conflict, The Cryonic Woman which brings back a frozen love interest for Fry, The Route Of All Evil which sends the crew on a perilous delivery through a bureaucratic nightmare, and Bender Gets Made which places the robot in a mobster storyline. In addition to the episodes the set includes a rich assortment of bonus material such as audio commentaries from creator Matt Groening, executive producer David X Cohen, and various cast members, a series of animatics that reveal early storyboard work, deleted scenes trimmed for time, a behind the scenes documentary covering writing and animation production, and an interactive menu that allows direct access to any episode or special feature. The product spans four dual layer discs and comes with a booklet containing episode synopses and production artwork. The product was originally catalogued under the Tv Show category and placed within the Tv Show genre to aid discovery in web searches. The associated Futurama video game entry was added to iOctavio.com on October 1 2004.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
